The Atlanta Jam 2008 started for BMX Freestyler with a message from Kris Veal on Global-Flat.com. Originally after reading the post for the jam I wanted to go but was not in a financial position to get there. Kris left me a personal message and extended a invitation to the jam. I got very excited that and I started thinking if there was a way for me to get there. I showed the message to my son and he was just as impressed by Kris's words and wanted to go to Atlanta. The first thing I thought about next was ROAD TRIP!! I started calling around to all my friends seeing if they wanted to pool our money and resources together. On the trip was my self, Mark Caleb, Jim Mckay, Chris Balles, Chris Newman and Aaron Frost.

    The trip started off slow. We started off a hour latter than what we had planed. We left out of Austin by 8:00 PM and we drove all night long. We arrived at the Jam at 2:00PM on Saturday afternoon. It was cool and we were pumped to be there. We got straight to business and started riding and recording. We were greeted with open arms by everyone there and we had a BLAST. We even got some free stuff just because we came to the jam.

    The After Party was a Highlight of the Jam. We may have all been very tired but so excited to be around so many cool people. We had a treat to watch Terry Adams in his Solo DVD "Dreams" It was a great way to see it for the first time. Surrounded by so many friends. Everyone on the trip is ready to go back again next year. We just hope to have more time on our hands. Big props to everyone that made the journey to the ATL Jam. Please enjoy all the photos and Videos.
